‘The Umbrella Academy’ casts Javon Walton in season 3

Fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of The Umbrella Academy season three. Netflix has shared snippets of good news and posters over the last few months to increase their anticipation.

Recently, Netflix revealed a new cast member on their Twitter account. They confirmed casting Javon Walton in the third season of The Umbrella Academy

Walton has been an integral part of HBOMax’s Euphoria since 2019. He voiced Pugsley Addams in The Addams Family 2, taking over Finn Wolfhard’s role. Walton will star in the upcoming August release, Samaritan alongside Sylvester Stallone.

While not much has been revealed about Walton’s character, he is most likely not a member of the elusive and mysterious Sparrow Academy, as the members have already been introduced by Netflix previously with a set of character posters

The arrival of the Sparrows had been teased using silhouettes towards the end of season two, and they will finally be making an appearance this year.

Created in 2019 by Steve Blackman and Jeremy Slater, this top-rated Netflix series with its talented ensemble cast and a promising setting was adapted from Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba’s The Umbrella Academy.

The older cast, including Elliot Page, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Robert Sheehan, David Castaneda, Tom Hopper, Colm Feore and more, shall make a return.

New faces like Justin Cornwell, Britney Oldford, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David, and Jake Epstein shall join them. The new characters’ names include Marcus, Fei, Alphonso, Solane and Jayme.

Netflix has not yet announced the premiere date for the third season. However, it will release sometime in 2022.

The show has also been renewed for a fourth season
