Take a look at the brand new ‘The Umbrella Academy’ characters

As soon as Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy was renewed for a third season, fans were delighted at the prospect of watching the Hargraves return to the screen and unleash chaos. Now, ahead of the 2022 series return, Netflix has revealed a series of character posters that have added to the anticipation of fans.

Created in 2019 by Steve Blackman and Jeremy Slater, this highly popular Netflix series with its talented ensemble cast and a promising setting was adapted from Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba’s The Umbrella Academy.

The series revolves around the mysterious birth of 43 children all over the world, of which seven are adopted by the idiosyncratic billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves who calls them the Umbrella Academy.

The siblings, of whom one is dead, and another alienated due to their alleged lack of superpowers, unite to save the world from an apocalypse at which they miserably fail, leading to the second season where they are sent back in time to amend their mistake.

In the second season, after daddy issues got stronger, the finale showed how they failed to put an end to the apocalypse and ended up wiping the entire existence of the version of 2019 unique to their world.

The third season will most likely begin with the introduction of the Sparrow Academy who is the alternate version of the members of the Umbrella Academy, except Ben. With the entire Umbrella Academy reuniting for the third season, we might see a lot of high-strung action, drama and resolutions amidst other conspiracy theories.

The older cast, including Elliot Page, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Robert Sheehan, David Castaneda, Tom Hopper, Colm Feore and more, shall make a return. They shall be joined by new faces like Justin Cornwell, Britney Oldford, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David and Jake Epstein.

The new characters’ names include Marcus, Fei, Alphonso, Solane and Jayme.

The series recently took to its Twitter to introduce the new characters and display the tension between the two alternate realities.
