Watch Netflix’s official trailer for the Adam Sandler film ‘Hustle’

Adam Sandler is coming back to enthral audiences with the classic underdog sports dramedy Hustle which will be releasing on Netflix on June 8th, 2022, as a part of the streamer’s slated summer releases. 

Directed by We the Animals filmmaker Jeremiah Zagar, the film marks yet another collaboration between Sandler and Netflix, following successful stints like Uncut Gems, Hubbie Halloween, Murder Mystery etc. 

This upcoming sports comedy will see a jaded basketball scout named Stanley Sugarman and how he attempts to resuscitate his career in a unique manner he discovers a generational Spanish talent with a tumultuous life who has the potential of becoming the next big NBA star. 

Queen Latifah will play Sandler’s wife and Jordan Hull will be seen as their daughter. Set in Philadelphia, the film will start off with how his family is disappointed when he puts his career on hold. 

Sandler will then discover real-life Spanish basketball legend Juancho Herangomez (currently a Utah Jazz player), as Bo Cruz, whose exceptional talent will help put Sugarman’s career in line; Stanley thus undertakes this risky challenge to prove his worth once and for all. 

The rest of the cast includes Robert Duvall, Ben Foster, former NBA player Kenny Smith and SNL star Heidi Garner.
