Finn Wolfhard: 'Stranger Things' season 4 is “messed up”

From Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink and David Harbour to Shawn Levy, the cast and crew for Netflix’s Stranger Things season 4 have been continuously teasing fans with a sneak peek into the updates regarding the fourth season.

Producer Shawn Levy even stepped the game up by saying that the fourth season would be “super worth the wait”

After the long and arduous wait for the much-anticipated season, whose arrival got delayed by an unprecedented amount due to the pandemic, it is finally set to arrive sometime in 2022. After mentioning how it would be the darkest season ever, Finn Wolfhard has recently had a lot to reveal about the upcoming season.

If we are to take the various teasers into consideration, the show will oscillate from Hawkins to California and even Russia, while delving into various storylines that give a deeper insight into the character narratives. Recently, David Harbour, who plays Chief Jim Hopper and was seen in Russia after his alleged death in a teaser, compared the season to the series Lost and spoke about the “never done before” action in the show.

Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler, the intelligent leader of the ragtag group and Eleven’s (Millie Bobby Brown) love interest, described the production details.

He said, “What I can say is that we just did literally 300 days, we just finished shooting and it was Day 300. Yeah. Like, I’m so glad they still care, because, you know, if a show runs for that long, the creators stop caring. They cash in. And they really still care. The show is going to be really messed up this season.”

Recently, Netflix released a teaser that showed Eleven in California with Joyce Byers and her family, trying to adjust to her new life, while writing letters to Mike, hiding her outcast status in high school.

The teaser also promises unbridled action, gruesome violence and a test of loyalty and friendship- basically everything a Stranger Things aficionado is dying to witness!
