All the Truth in My Lies (Maria Togores and Marina Perez, 2026)

Weekend unwinding just got an upgrade for Netflix subscribers with a fresh Elísabet Benavent adaptation, All the Truth in My Lies, now on streaming. The Spanish limited series revolves around a tight-knit group of six friends who pack their stuff into a camper van to embark on an adventurous road trip to celebrate their friend Blanca’s bachelorette trip, unaware of the emotional baggage they’re carrying and are ready to spill.

Although it begins as a carefree farewell trip, the light-hearted adventure evolves into a hotbed of tension as long-buried secrets and long-suppressed emotions start to surface. All the Truth in My Lies follows these six friends as they navigate unprecedented unravellings, each in their own way, trying to hold on to every thread of that friendship before it all falls apart and making difficult choices they wish they never had to make.

Mousetrap (Kim Hong-sun, 2026)

While Netflix has a lot in store for your weekend, Mousetrap is undoubtedly the one worth losing sleep for. Inspired by a traditional Korean folktale where a rat transforms into a person after eating chipped fingernails, the South Korean thriller tells the story of Je Moon-jae, a reclusive writer, who wakes up one fine day to discover his phone no longer recognises his fingerprint, his manager friend disappears without a trace, and his accounts lock out.

Moon-jae soon realises that the strange events are no coincidence but the doing of a mysterious entity called The Rat, who has stolen his identity, career, and fortune. Left with no way to prove who he is, Mousetrap follows Moon-jae as he pairs up with No-ja, a ruthless loan shark-turned-private investigator, to track down the imposter, who is subsequently joined by detective Sun-young. Together, the trio dig into the truth behind the unexplained happenings.

Beauty in Black (Tyler Perry, 2024-Present)

Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black is clearly full of surprises. First, it stepped back from the three-season plan to renew the show for the fourth season, and when the third season arrived, it clearly showed why the story is far from over. In what’s deemed the most explosive season yet, the third instalment follows Kimmie as she steps into the role of the Bellarie empire, defined by power and control, while navigating an uneasy alliance with Mallory.

Since the second season concluded with the FBI raids on the Bellarie family, the third season of Beauty in Black opens with many of the enemies behind bars, including Olivia, Roy, and Jules. While knowing them, the prison bars are barely enough to hold them back; rest assured, every major character in the Netflix drama will face the consequences of their actions, leading to a bloody season finale that’s sure to leave you spellbound.

Leanne (Nikki Lorre, 2025-Present)

Netflix never hit the brakes with its content this week, and honestly, we cannot complain. So, just in case you need something light-hearted to rinse off the bloody twists of Beauty in Black from your head, Leanne Morgan is back with Leanne season two to save your day. The multi-cam sitcom follows the protagonist’s journey of rebuilding her life as a single woman as she approaches her 60th birthday.

In the second season of the hit Netflix comedy series, Leanne takes in her elderly parents with her sister Carol, leading to moments of heart, humour, and, of course, signature chaos. What’s notable in this instalment is that Leanne finally lets go of her resentment towards her ex-husband, opening the door to new romantic possibilities as she develops a close bond with FBI agent Andrew, bringing a wholesome package.

Death of the Pastor’s Wife (Julia Willoughby Nason and Michael Gasparro, 2026)

We recommend Julia Willoughby Nason and Michael Gasparro’s newest docu-series, Death of the Pastor’s Wife, which examines the tragic true story of 30-year-old Mica Miller, who was found dead on April 27th, 2024, at Lumber River State Park across the state line in North Carolina, a case that was promptly ruled a suicide. However, the case ultimately took the media by storm when evidence surfaced that she was being stalked.

According to Death of the Pastor’s Wife, Mica even told police officers that she was reportedly “afraid for her life,” and it turns out the source of her fear was her husband and also the pastor of her family’s church, John-Paul Miller. The three-part Netflix documentary reconstructs the events leading up to Mica’s sudden and mysterious death, featuring exclusive footage and firsthand interviews with friends and family to determine what could have actually happened to her.
