The 10 most popular series on Netflix US this week: October 2026

What a way to announce that American Netflix viewers have got their priorities straight, because while the world is busy bingeing the underwater monster in Below, America is preparing for Halloween with From, taking Netflix US crown from under everyone’s noses. A licensed horror series beating Netflix’s expensive originals? Now that’s a turn nobody saw coming!

And the funny thing is, From only arrived on Netflix US on October 19th, bringing its first three seasons over from MGM+. Harold Perrineau stars as the sheriff of a town where nobody can escape, and the residents have to barricade themselves indoors before nightfall because of the creatures roaming outside.

Nobody Wants This follows in second, but can we talk about Morgan and Sasha for a second this time because they’ve stolen the bloody show this season! Joanne and Noah have been getting on way too smooth, so somebody else needed to supply the romantic tension, and the siblings came to the rescue. Justine Lupe and Timothy Simons have such tremendous chemistry that their complicated romance deserves a new series of its own.

Love Is Blind takes third, and Boston’s singles have been nothing but entertaining to the viewers. The latest episodes have sent the couples out into the real world, where making grand promises through a wall is one thing, but having to live with the person you chose is a whole different piece of cake.

Then comes The Diplomat in fourth, and the show performed below the expectations of both viewers and Netflix. No wait, nobody’s implying that the story lacked thrill; it’s just that with shows like Below and Nobody Wants This releasing quite close to it, The Diplomat’s viewership got distributed.

But Below dropping to fifth? Jesus, that’s quite the fall for Josh Hartnett’s monster thriller, considering it’s enjoying a third consecutive week atop Netflix’s global chart.

And that’s what makes the US rankings such an interesting read this week. Netflix can spend a fortune promoting its originals, but an older horror series has come along and pinched the top spot.

Further down, WWE’s Raw takes sixth with its October 19th broadcast, while Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 arrives in seventh. The New Stanford Prison Experiment follows in eighth, with TYSON slipping to ninth. Comedian Theo Von rounds off the ten with his stand-up special I’m Doing Fine, making his first appearance on this week’s chart.
