Netflix releases Ryan Reynolds film trailer at Super Bowl

Netflix had previously released the official trailer for its upcoming 2022 film slate that had increased the eager anticipation in fans for the arrival of these films. This included the highly-anticipated Ryan Reynolds sci-fi Netflix film that is coming to the streaming service next month.

The streamer has now combined the trailer containing the footage of its upcoming releases with the full trailer for the upcoming Ryan Reynolds film, The Adam Project for a Super Bowl commercial that will help add to the buzz and excitement.

Within the first quarter of the game, the new film preview began streaming and contained some unseen footage from films like The Gray Man, Knives Out 2, Enola Holmes, Slumberland and others, before revealing the trailer for The Adam Project

Directed by Stranger Things producer Shawn Levy, the film will star Reynolds alongside Jennifer Garner, Walker Scobell and Marvel alum Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldana. It is a time travel film that will see Reynolds as the titular Adam, teaming up with his younger self to find his missing lover while seeking answers from his past.

Starring Daniel Craig, Ana de Armas, Kate Hudson, Edward Norton, Ethan Hawke and others, Rian Johnson’s second film in the Knives Out franchise, Knives Out 2 has garnered quite the attention, reigning as one of the most anticipated Netflix Originals of this year. After the first film was a super hit at the box office, fans expect the second film to far surpass the first. Netflix has even acquired Johnson’s trilogy in a staggering deal and will even stream the third film after it commences production.

The trailer also featured footage from Marvel directors Joe and Anthony Russo’s The Gray Man that stars Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, Rege-Jean Page, Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thornton and others. Starring Evans as the antagonist with an iconic moustache, the footage shows off the high-strung action and stunts performed by Gosling in the most unusual places.

Besides featuring Henry Cavill and Millie Bobby Brown in Enola Holmes 2, the trailer also teased the upcoming Adam Sandler film, Hustle, which tells the story of a jaded basketball scout finding a gifted yet troubled player and trying to make history.

While most of their release dates have not yet been announced, The Adam Project is set to release on March 11th, 2022.
