Netflix announces release date for Leonardo DiCaprio film Don’t Look Up

Directed by Adam Mckay and headlined by a stellar star-studded ensemble cast including Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Timothee Chalamet, Chris Evans and more, Netflix’s Don’t Look Up is a highly anticipated film that fans cannot wait to watch. In their recent tweet thread detailing the slate of forthcoming releases, Netflix has revealed the release date for the film. 

The dark comedy is set to feature DiCaprio and Lawrence as two astronomers who have to warn humanity against the impending doom that will be brought along by a stray meteorite. 

After a limited theatrical release, the film is slated to arrive on Netflix on Christmas Eve this year, that is December 24, 2021. 

The other slated releases include the much-anticipated Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Gal Gadot-starring film Red Notice which is set to premiere on November 12 while Halle Berry’s directorial debut Bruised about a middle-aged fighter is set to stream on November 24, 2021. 

Rebecca Hall’s directorial debut featuring black women Tessa Thompson and Ruth Negga as they try to combat racism in 1920s New York will arrive on the streaming platform on November 10, 2021.

Fans are also excited about the upcoming western film The Harder They Fall, starring Idris Elba and Jonathan Majors, set to stream on November 3, 2021.
