'Red Notice' set to be Netflix’s biggest movie ever

Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber and starring Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot, Netflix’s Red Notice is set to be, according to producer Hiram Garcia, the biggest movie the streaming platform has ever made.

Although the film was set to be released in 2020, after Netflix acquired rights, it is now set to be released on November 12, 2021, and will be Johnson’s third collaboration with Thurber, following Central Intelligence and Skyscraper

Netflix has released a new original film almost every week in 2021, and Red Notice, which is slated to stream in November, will most likely be the hottest and nuggets film ever. Given the star-studded ensemble, it is not too hard to believe.

Garcia described the film to Collider as “such a fun film”. Talking about their collaboration with Netflix, he further added, “It’s the biggest movie Netflix has ever done, and they were incredible partners making sure we had everything we needed to finish the movie in the middle of a pandemic. Despite all those challenges, we’re so happy with how Red Notice turned out. These three actors are so incredible together.”

The film will supposedly feature a heist that shall bring in Johnson, as the FBI agent, and the two criminals, played by Gadot and Reynolds, together into a fun and high-adrenaline film. Dwayne Johnson’s character, Rusty, is said to be the FBI’s best tracker, while Gadot and Reynolds are brilliant thieves.

Garcia also told Collider that “it’s truly a big globe-trotting adventure and the kind of movie that delivers on the fun escapism that I think the world could use more of right now.

Red Notice is set to be one of Netflix’s most significant releases in 2021 and is already the most hyped production filmed under the unforeseen circumstances of Covid-19.

Johnson had even shared how the cast and the crew were taking up strict precautions adhering to the pandemic regulations in order to complete production.

We are eagerly waiting for Netflix to release promotional videos and posters — after all, who wouldn’t want to see the Rock butting heads with the dangerous duo of Wonder Woman and Deadpool?
