Created by the Duffer brothers, Netflix’s Stranger Things is one of the most popular fan favourites on the streamer and rightfully so. Not only does it bring back the nostalgia of the enigmatic eighties but also has had an undeniable impact in resuscitating the genre.
Ahead of its highly anticipated fourth season release that is most likely to hit the streamer in 2022, fans are excited to get bytes regarding filming and more from stars like Finn Wolfhard, David Harbour and Sadie Sink who have all promised a riveting and dark season.
Producer Shawn Levy has even said that the fourth season would be “super worth the wait”.
Recently, Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers — it is his disappearance that builds up the central conflict in season one and gets the plot to move forward — revealed how his co-star Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, pranked him on the sets of season four.
Millie Bobby Brown is widely popular for her amicable and bubbly nature. Schnapp revealed that Brown had managed to convince the entire crew to be in on the prank on the final day of filming the fourth season.
Brown had called him to the base camp to hug him to bade farewell but was nowhere to be found once he reached the spot. Although Schnapp sensed foul play, he was soon attacked by Brown and 30 other members who threw a flurry of water balloons at him.
Much to the chagrin of the costume team, his clothes were soaked and he had to shoot all night. Schnapp, however, harbours no hard feelings as he and Brown are really good friends if we are to believe their Instagram exchanges.
Talking about shooting the fourth season, Schnapp said it was “unexpected, romantic and exhilarating”. Calling it the “best one yet”, he explained how the season gave him the opportunity to expand his horizons and interact with different people and test his comfort limits.
Brown will soon be seen in Netflix’s Enola Holmes 2 besides some other projects and she already has her hands full.
Eleven and Will, in the newest teaser, are shown to be in California where Eleven tries hard to fit into the high school but to no avail. She writes letters to Mike, lying about her predicament. The teaser sets the mood for a violent season with high-strung action.
