In 2015, Jessica Knoll published an eponymous thriller novel that was translated into 38 different languages and became an overnight sensation. The author had even opened up about how her personal experience with sexual abuse had inspired one of the scenes in the book and writing about it helped her heal gradually. The book is now being adapted into a Netflix film, starring Mila Kunis.
Titled Luckiest Girl Alive, the thriller will arrive sometime in 2022. It has been directed by Mike Barker, who is known for his work in The Handmaid’s Tale, Broadchurch, Fargo, Outlander etc. Barker will also be helming some episodes on the upcoming Netflix adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman.
The film is being produced by Made Up Stories and Picturestart. Currently, two other Made Up Stories productions are in store for Netflix. While Toni Collette’s Pieces of Her arrived in March, the anthology series, Anatomy of a Scandal is scheduled for an April 15th, 2022 premiere.
Kunis, who is serving as one of the producers on the show, is currently in news for raising funds for Ukraine during the Russian invasion of the nation.

When will the Mila Kunis film premiere on Netflix?
Netflix’s official trailer for the 2022 line-up featured the upcoming Mila Kunis film, much to the delight of fans, for a second from 1:49 to 1:50. However, an exact date has not yet been announced. The film will most likely premiere sometime in Spring 2022.
