Mila Kunis to star in Jessica Knoll’s 'Luckiest Girl Alive' on Netflix

Mila Kunis is set to star in the upcoming Netflix movie adaptation of Jessica Knoll’s 2015 New York Times best-selling thriller about a New York magazine editor whose “meticulously crafted life” is thrust into turmoil when a crime documentary forces her to relive the harrowing incident that devastated her teenage years.

Kunis will take on the lead role playing Ani FaNell, as well as producing the project under her Orchard Farm Productions banner.

Erik Feig and Bruna Papandrea will be assisting the actress with production having acquire the adaptation rights to the novel all the way back in 2015, before it was even published.

The book, which has since gone on to sell well over a million copies, is a psychological thriller bound to provide plenty of excitement for audiences.

The project will be directed by Mike Barker, who has also worked on the TV series’ The Handmaiden’s Tale and Fargo, with Jessica Knoll adapting her own novel for the screenplay.

Production on the picture has not yet begun so it should not be expected on the platform any time soon. In the meantime you can check out the trailer for Mila Kunis’ most recent project Breaking News in Yuba County starring Toni Collette below.
