The 10 most popular series on Netflix this week: October 2026

Twenty-five years after Pearl Harbor, Josh Hartnett and Ben Affleck are both ruling the movie and series charts of Netflix in the same week. Who would’ve thought we’d be having this conversation in 2026? Hartnett’s Below is still maintaining the first spot for a third week, despite taking quite a hit in viewership.

And you’ve got to give Below credit, because getting people hooked on a sea monster is quite an achievement when half the fun comes from having no bloody clue what the creature wants. Hartnett plays a fisherman whose hometown faces a terrifying threat, and the series has racked up 45.9 million views since its debut.

Next we have Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, who, well, should’ve been in the first spot with the third season of Nobody Wants This, but we’ll allow the second place too, given the show just debuted. Watching Joanne and Noah deal with moving in together sounds far more entertaining than another round of will-they-won’t-they. It was high time this season let them have some normalcy.

Meanwhile, The Diplomat has climbed from fifth to third, and Kate Wyler deserves a bloody medal for putting up with Washington’s nonsense this season. Keri Russell’s ambassador is dealing with a stolen Russian nuclear weapon this time, while President Grace Penn’s decisions are, as usual, making things worse.

In fourth place, we have Mike Tyson’s documentary, TYSON, and what’s interesting here is that Netflix hasn’t made yet another celebration film of his boxing career. The four-episode series examines his achievements alongside the controversies that have followed him, including chapters that will make you a bit uncomfortable.

And Love Is Blind has reached its eleventh season. The Boston edition of this Netflix reality show has climbed to fifth, and we’re amazed people keep signing up to marry strangers they’ve never laid eyes on. Mind you, viewers have spent years watching this experiment go wrong, so perhaps the appeal shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Further down, Florence Pugh’s East of Eden has slipped to sixth after four weeks, while From enters seventh with its first season. Then comes The New Stanford Prison Experiment in eighth, revisiting questions about authority through an experiment involving thirty volunteers.

WWE’s Raw takes ninth with its October 19th broadcast, while children’s animated series Spike rounds off the chart. A weird week combination-wise but overall quite predictable.
