‘Squid Game’ multiplayer game to launch in the US and UK

When Squid Game first became a global craze, headlines about teachers and parents who were concerned about their kids copying the antics seemed Ludacris. Now, however, in a comical twist, their fears have been confirmed.

Interactive games corporation Immersive Gamebox have teamed up with Netflix to bring a real-life multiplayer version of Squid Game to life in the UK and US this coming September.

The game will allow between two to six friends to battle it out in challenges like ‘Red Light, Green Light’, ‘Glass Bridge’ and, of course, the home run of ‘Squid Game’ itself.

Immersive Gamebox have pioneered motion-sensor technology that enables players to interact with a touch screen in specially designed rooms in order to enjoy (or endure) and virtual reality style role-play of the game.

“To reimagine Netflix’s most popular show in an entirely new format offers customers more ways to stay connected to Squid Game,” said Immersive Gamebox CEO Will Dean statement.

However, you have to be 16 or older to partake in the games and it’ll set you back £19 albeit you can recruit virtual money by winning challenges throughout the game.
