New Ryan Reynolds film on Netflix gets an official teaser

After a brilliant 2021, where Rawson Marshall Thurber’s Red Notice brought him huge success, Ryan Reynolds is gearing up for the release of his new Netflix film The Adam Project. Netflix has now released an official teaser for the film, a week after releasing the first-look photos.

Slated for a premiere on March 11th, 2022, the film will see Reynolds working with Stranger Things producer  Shawn Levy.

He will be joined by Marvel actors, Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldana, besides an extensive ensemble, including Walker Scobell, Jennifer Garner, Alex Mallari Jr. and Catherine Keener.

In this time travel sci-fi film, Reynolds, as the titular Adam, will team up with his younger self and travel back in time to seek answers from his father who has passed away.

Talking about how the art of reconciliation is “really difficult”, Reynolds revealed how the film would touch upon the complexities of a father-son relationship. “You have this central character who has told himself a story about his own father that isn’t necessarily true,” he told Vanity Fair

He added, “I’ve told myself stories to justify things about my father and the complicated relationship I had with him before he passed.

The teaser shows Adam venturing into the past to find his lover who has disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

However, technical damage compels him to travel back to his past and work closely with his younger self.
