Netflix shares new teaser for 'Bridgerton' season three

Netflix has just shared new clips from the upcoming third season of the popular period drama Bridgerton.

Following two exceptionally successful seasons of the show, based on Julia Quinn’s book series, Netflix will be premiering a third season in two halves, with part one coming to the platform on May 16th.

Part two will be released on June 13th, with the streamer teasing the events of the second half of the season on X/Twitter. Each part will consist of four episodes, with Penelope Featherington’s quest for a husband becoming the central focus.

Played by Nicola Coughlan, Penelope will be trying to find romance following a previous crush on Luke Newton’s Colin. An official synopsis for the series reads, “Colin has returned from his summer travels with a new look and a serious sense of swagger.”

“But he’s disheartened to realise that Penelope, the one person who always appreciated him as he was, is giving him the cold shoulder.” As he tries to help her find a man, “Colin must grapple with whether his feelings for Penelope are truly just friendly.”

Bridgerton is one of Netflix’s most popular shows, and the third season of the period drama has been highly anticipated since the end of season two in 2022.

This season will feature the main cast members from the previous seasons, such as Jonathan Bailey, Ashley Simone, Claudia Jessie and Florence Hunt. However, Phoebe Dynevor will not be returning for the newest instalment of Bridgerton.
