Netflix has finally confirmed 'Outer Banks' season 3

After the first season of Netflix’s Outer Banks served as a lockdown adventure for viewers, it was then followed up with an equally exciting second season. It left fans eagerly awaiting the third season. Netflix has finally renewed the series for a third season to their delight.

The series revolved around the Pogues, a band of hot, rebellious teenagers fixated on discovering the truth behind the mysterious disappearance of their ringleader’s father. Soon they stumble upon the legend of a treasure with deep-rooted connections with the missing patriarch.

Pursued by the wealthy and crooked Kooks as well as the law, The Pogues battle with inner demons, betrayal, drugs and love. They do this all while trying to find John B’s father.

After two riveting seasons, the Pogues can now hunt for more treasure and combat the evil forces on the eponymous islands while playing on the themes of friendship, trust and love.

Jonas and Josh Pate and Shannon Burke are making a return as showrunners for the third season. The first season had premiered at the beginning of the pandemic in April 2020, while the second season arrived on July 30th, 2021.

Starring Chase Stokes, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Madelyn Cline and Rudy Pandow, this melodramatic Gen-Z favourite quickly became one of Netflix’s most-hyped shows.

Season two’s Austin North, Carlacia Grant, Charles Esten and Drew Starkey will also make a comeback in the third season.
