While fans already welcomed The Testimony of Vince Young last week, September 1st brings Untold Raygun: Breaking Badly, detailing the ascent, descent, and reinvention of divisive figure Rachel “Raygun” Gunn.
The academic and competitive break dancer took the headlines by storm following her 2024 Olympic debut in Paris. However, her rise was met with a barrage of online memes, misinformation, and conspiracy theories, showering scepticism on her potential. Untold Raygunn: Breaking Badly opens up about the dark side of internet culture, weighing in on the intense scrutiny that followed, in an attempt to debunk the claims spreading worldwide.
Lovesick (2026)
Premiering on September 2nd is a brand-new Mexican period drama, Lovesick, directed, produced, and written by Catalina Aguilar Mastretta. The Netflix Original series follows Emilia Sauri, who’s torn between loving two men without having to let go of her dream of studying medicine. The first man is Daniel Cuenca, “the adventurer and revolutionary,” who cemented her childhood dreams, while the second is Antonia Zavalza, the doctor urging peace amidst war.
Set in the early days of the Mexican Revolution, Lovesick revolves around Emilia’s journey to fulfil her dreams of becoming a doctor and gaining independence in an era and society that rarely gives women agency, let alone a voice. But as she faces a difficult choice while trying to finish her medical studies, she confronts a struggle beyond societal expectations and limitations as her desire for personal and professional freedom clashes with the massive political changes of the time.
Turning Point: Generation 9/11 (2026)
Directed by Brian Knappenberger and premiering on September 2nd, Turning Point: Generation 9/11 is an upcoming Netflix Original documentary that chronicles how the infamous September 11 terrorist attacks reshaped the generation that grew up in the debris of the disastrous aftermath. Instead of pigeonholing its focus on macro politics, the documentary, releasing 25 years after the 2001 attacks, explores the personal and human toll of 9/11.
From illuminating heartbreaking true stories of children who lost parents during the attacks to journalists whose War on Terror coverage made headlines, Turning Point: Generation 9/11 captures various tangents of the tragedy that took the world aback. Set a year after Eddie and Susie paired up to work together in Bobby’s criminal underbelly overseas, the second season of the hit action-comedy series follows the duo as they face a difficult choice amidst an expansion of the checkered enterprise.

Earle Meets World (2026)
Lastly, premiering September 4th is a new unscripted series, Earle Meets World, where the chic “It” girl Alix Earle takes over Netflix screens with her sister and fellow creator Ashtin Earle, alongside her go-to group of friends, offering fans a front-row seat to the real-time chaos and mess of a young woman in transition. The eight-episode series primarily follows social media influencer Alix as she juggles a growing business empire, public scrutiny, full-blown rumour mills, and quirky family dynamics.
