New Year’s with Netflix will be a star-studded affair as Jamie Dornan takes centre stage in The Twin in not one, but two equally interesting roles.
Based on Kristoffer Metcalfe’s Norwegian television series Twin, the upcoming limited series stars the Fifty Shades of Grey actor as both Adam and Lee, twins caught in a twisted love triangle with Nicola.
After a long estrangement, the three are forced back together, and tensions arise. While a love triangle rarely ends well, this most certainly doesn’t suggest otherwise.

What is the plot?
Stuck in a marriage with Adam that has lost its spark and love, Nicola’s life takes an unexpected turn when her husband’s long-estranged identical twin brother, Lee, returns to the scene and threatens to upend her present with their complicated romantic past. An impulsive decision and a terrible accident make Nicola protective of her children, and somehow Lee and Nicola find their paths intersect, sparking unbelievable tension over the course of a week.
At the centre of Netflix’s forthcoming limited series, The Twin, are Nicola and Lee. Although fully aware that they’re living on borrowed time, they can barely hide the sparks flying inside.
