Although Enola Holmes 3 has not been officially announced by Netflix yet, there are ample reasons to believe it will be. Given Enola Holmes 2’s huge success the producers would not miss making this franchise as big as they could. The potential for films and shows with a detective nature is palpable.
Like Sherlock and Hercules Poirot, we have the newest detective sensation to be budding among us. Yes, the Stranger Things lead actor Eleven playing Enola Holmes. Judging by the developmental trajectory of the story, the third season is going to be based on a more original plot.
Based on the previous production trend, with Enola Holmes coming out in 2020 and its sequel in 2022, the third part could tentatively be released in late 2024.
Faces we could hope to see in the next movie of course besides Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill include the sensational Moriarty. Sharon Duncan-Brewster plays Mira Troy or Moriarty in the sequel and hints at a more complex plot that will follow.
Especially because we find out that she escapes prison. Alongside that, we are made familiar with Himesh Patel as the new Dr John Watson. All that is to expect is more Sherlock madness but make it Enola.
As the protagonist of the plot is also the producer, the franchise is only at its beginning. Especially as Brown is committed to it. In an interview with ScreenRant, Millie exclaimed, “I would love to be a part of another one. I would love to see her do more cases, be put under pressure, be put in crazy situations, make her feel vulnerable again. I absolutely love seeing her back at work again.”
The sequel introduces a lot of original Sherlock characters to the plot which creates pathways for further development. The foundation of the franchise has been set.
Sam Clafin playing Mycroft was not seen in the sequel for a scheduling conflict. However, the director of the film made comments about keeping a door for him open in future projects.

Thus, there isn’t an official trailer yet to base your excitement on. However, with the developing storyline, the films are only going to get more complex and witty. And the success of the sequel suggests vividly that we are all here for it.
