Elliot Page shares first look at Umbrella Academy season 3 character

Elliot Page has given fans of The Umbrella Academy a sneak peek at what they can expect from his character in the forthcoming third season.

Page will now star as Viktor Hargreeves following the actor’s transition to a non-binary transgender person which Page announced back in December 2020.

Upon the release of that news, Netflix immediately confirmed that Page would be returning for season three, however, it was unclear whether Page’s character, Vanya, would remain a cisgender woman.

Page offered fans the first glimpse of him starring in the thrilling-sounding third outing of the series with a social media post that simply shared a photo with the caption: “Meet Viktor Hargreeves.” You can check it out below.

Season 2 strengthened daddy issues as the Hargreeves family managed to evade the apocalypse by travelling to the 1960s, yet did not get showered with praises; instead, they found themselves in a fix.

It’s a fix that is set to continue with the next series, as the logline reads: “Navigating challenges, losses, and surprises of their own — and dealing with an unidentified destructive entity wreaking havoc in the Universe (something they may have caused) — now all they need to do is convince Dad’s new and possibly better family to help them put right what their arrival made wrong.”

Continuing to ask: “Will they find a way back to their pre-apocalyptic lives? Or is this new world about to reveal more than just a hiccup in the timeline?”

The Umbrella Academy was supposed to start filming its third season in February 2021 and according to Deadline, production is absolutely on schedule. The Umbrella Academy season three is slated for a June 22nd, 2022 premiere on Netflix.
