With two feature-length episodes, the second volume is admittedly “more violent” than ever. The explosive trailer for the second volume promises gruesome violence, shocking revelations and possible major character deaths. Taking place across three locations, namely Hawkins, California and Kamchatka in Russia, the second volume will perhaps see Vecna and Eleven spar while the backdrop records harrowing events.

The fourth season has a varied ensemble cast, namely Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Priah Ferguson, Matthew Modine, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Joseph Quinn, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke and Jamie Campbell Bower among others.

Resident Evil (Andrew Dabb)

After years of bated anticipation, the live-action adaptation of the popular and titular Capcom game is finally coming to Netflix. With eight hour-long episodes, the story will take place across two different timelines that explore the aftermath of the deadly T-virus outbreak and the establishment of the New World Order.

Starring Lance Riddick, Ella Balinska, Paola Nunez, Tamara Smart and Siena Agudong among others, the series will reportedly be followed up by a second season which is in the works. The official trailer records and promises bombastic action sequences, badass protagonists, creepy creatures, a dangerous battle for survival and rampant greed and corruption.

Resident Evil will premiere on Netflix on July 14th, 2022.

Virgin River (Sue Tenney)

The fourth season of Virgin River will debut on Netflix on July 20th, 2022.

Based on Robyn Carr’s eponymous novel series, Tenney’s show has become quite a popular sensation on Netflix where viewers revel in the romantic pursuits, melodramatic conflicts and complicated character narratives amidst harrowing background scores and scenic locations. The series stars Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson in the lead, besides other actors like Jenny Cooper, Colin Lawrence, Annette O’Toole, Zibby Allen, Tim Matheson and Sarah Dugdale among others.

The upcoming fourth season will see Mel and Jack have some problems with the latter being bothered by Mel’s child’s paternity. The child might either belong to Jack or to her dead husband, mark. The show will also see the rival of a new doctor in the town which might complicate matters. With 12 impending episodes, the fourth season will set the tempo for the impending fifth season which has been greenlit for production at Netflix.

Keep Breathing (Martin Gero, Brendan Gall)

With only six episodes, the upcoming listed survival drama will feature an ensemble cast, namely Melissa Barrera, Florencia Lozano, Jeff Wlbusch, Austin Stowell and Juan Pablo Espinosa among others. It will feature Barrera as a New York City lawyer who must battle for survival in the Canadian wilderness following a harrowing plane crash.

Known for her role in the slasher franchise Scream, Barrera was one of the very few Ghostface survivors. Since she survived the deranged killer, viewers are hoping for her new avatar to make it out of the woods safely as well. The first-look images released by Netflix promise unhinged tension and chaos as the lone survivor tries desperately to “keep breathing.”

Keep Breathing will premiere on Netflix on July 28th, 2022.

Uncoupled (Darren Star)

Neil Patrick Harris, who has always been associated with the role of the flirtatious Barney Stinson from How I Met Your Mother, will make a return to a comedy series after quite a long break. He plays a gay middle-aged man in New York City who gets dumped by his husband of 17 years. Following this major catastrophe, his life begins to change drastically.

Hilarious yet moving, this eight-episode series will chronicle the main character’s heartbreak while also expositing him in various amusing escapades. In his second collaboration with Netflix, Harris will be joined by various other cast members, namely Tisha Campbell, Marcia Gay Harden, Tuc Watkins, Brooks Ashmanskas and Emerson Brooks among others.
