True-crime seems to be doing insanely well on the streaming service since two spots of the top ten are occupied by some such shows, namely Inventing Anna and Bad Vegan.
Global users are still enamoured by the fake German heiress Anna Sorokin who managed to con the wealthy New Yorkers of millions of dollars. However, the four-episode series about the acclaimed vegan restauranteur Sarma Melngailis in Bad Vegan has left the viewers appalled and shocked by the bizarre premise.
Binge-watching series is becoming increasingly popular, and series often reign supreme on the top ten charts for weeks. While some binge copious amounts of the show, others love savouring it, slowly dedicating their sweet time to understand the theories.
Netflix’s very own version of Game of Thrones, aka The Last Kingdom, finally ended with its fifth and final season this month and has occupied the top spot on the charts. With jarring action sequences and an abundance of blood, gore and violence, the series is followed by the Vikings spin-off, Vikings: Valhalla on the list.
Toni Collette’s Pieces of Her is still a favourite among Netflix users but has dropped from its number one spot to the second spot. The turbulent fourth season of Drive to Survive continues to enthral viewers and the brand new Tom Hardy-Jessie Buckley series Taboo has found its place in the top ten list.
