Will Smith, Billie Eilish confirmed for new David Letterman show

David Letterman is a well-known talk show host whose Emmy-nominated talk show series on Netflix became extremely popular among viewers due to the exciting guest line-up. The show is returning for a fourth season on May 20th, 2022, and has announced an even better line-up.

After 33 years of hosting a late-night show, Letterman returned to Netflix with an intimate, politically charged and poignant stint titled My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman that began in 2018 and hosted 18 guests, including Barrack Obama, Malala Yousafzai, Jay-Z, Shah Rukh Khan etc.

These guests talk about their early life, influences, setbacks and more while voicing their concerns and taking strong socio-political and socio-economic stands. The show is indeed insightful and inspiring.

The veteran host will be seen chairing the fourth season yet again. Across six episodes, he will have an interesting line-up of guests, namely Will Smith, Ryan Reynolds, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Kevin Durant.

The episodes were filmed before March 2022, prior to the infamous Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars 2022 incident. Thus, the show will not contain Smith’s comments on the same.

Executive produced by Tom Keaney and Mary Barclay among others, Letterman’s show has always been a blend of on-stage chit-chat and a look into the guests’ personal lives. Fans are hoping to enjoy a witty and quirky exchange between Reynolds and Letterman while also hopefully getting an insight into Eilish’s extraordinary song-making process.

My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman season four arrives on Netflix on May 20th, 2022.
