What to expect from the sixth season of 'Rick and Morty'

Where can we begin when it comes to Rick and Morty? Apart from a brilliant run of 6 seasons, the show has an intensely loyal fan base. Rick is an alcoholic troubled genius who traverses through multiple universes to get back the family he lost.

Now he resides with his daughter Beth and her family. He has officially taken over their garage, where all he does is create science as no one has ever seen. He is the smartest man in his universe and others. This brilliant animated series’s new season is ready to blow your mind!

The audience was gifted with ten episodes of pure genius in season five. These episodes built on how Rick ended up with the version of Morty he has been going on his misadventures with. What we need to keep in mind whilst discussing the onset of season six is how season five ended. In the finale episode, Evil Morty unveiled a new world before he emancipated himself from Rick by jumping into a yellow portal. Very unlike the typical green portals created by Rick himself.

Evil Morty is not ready to deal with Rick anymore, he feels used and unvalued. If he does end up showing himself back this new season, it will certainly not do Rick any good. Alongside, it was revealed that Rick concocted a new universe where Morty always ends up being Rick’s grandson. Watch the last season on Netflix here!

Now onto the newest season currently being released. The network gave this season of Rick and Morty a go-ahead even before season four ended. The puritans definitely keep an appetite for a lot more from this show.

You can check out the first full season six trailer here, where we can see how the whole family gets heavily involved in his classic misadventures. We definitely see a lot more of Beth and Summer.

Season six will also contain ten episodes to keep its last season’s tradition alive. The esteemed and highly praised co-creator of the show, Dan Harmon, suggests there could potentially be longer seasons in the future of the show.

Harmon did so in an interview with EW, where he claimed, “I would like to think I’ve learned enough from my mistakes in season three that we could definitely do 14 now, but then I have to say, ‘Yeah, but you’re the guy who says we can do 14 who turned out to be wrong, so we’re not listening to you now.”

The official synopsis of the show’s newest season claims, “It’s season six and Rick and Morty are back! Pick up where we left them, worse for wear and down on their luck. Will they manage to bounce back for more adventures? Or will they get swept up in an ocean of piss! Who knows?! Piss! Family! Intrigue! A bunch of dinosaurs! More piss! Another can’t miss the season of your favourite show.”

You better be geared up for a crazy sci-fi intergalactic journey with the Smith family led by Rick Sanchez. Check out episode one, ‘Solaricks’,of the newest season here! Here’s the official poster for their new season!
