Netflix has released the brand new trailer for the comedy flick The Out-Laws, starring Pierce Brosnan and Adam Devine.
Directed by Tyler Spindel, who also helmed The Wrong Missy in 2020, the new movie follows a bank manager (Adam Devine) who meets the parents of his fiancée after long last.
As their visit continues, however, the protagonist begins to suspect that his in-laws may have robbed a bank during the week of their wedding. As well as Devine and Brosnan, the likes of Ellen Barkin, Poorna Jagannathan, Nina Dobrev, Richard Kind and Michael Rooker also star.
Looking like a solid comedy-crime caper, the most memorable part of the new trailer is when Devine’s character is compared to James Bond by his in-law (played by Brosnan), a reference to the latter’s own time in the iconic movie role in the 1990s.
Produced by Devine and Adam Sandler, The Out-Laws is penned by Evan Turner and Ben Zazov.
Brosnan most recently appeared in the DC superhero movie Black Adam with Dwayne Johnson, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell and Sarah Shahi. Though the film failed to make a splash with critics and audiences, Brosnan’s performance was praised, adding a bit of camp melodrama to the overly serious superhero flick.
