Watch the new Japanese dub trailer for 'The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf'

The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is set to release on August 23, 2021, and Netflix has released a new trailer that flaunts the Japanese dub. And it is so cool that we are simply losing our minds!

Following the adventures of the “swashbuckling witcher for hire”, Vesemir, the project is just another addition to the Witcher-verse and already seems incredibly promising. The new trailer that has been released in Japanese dub has a set of never-seen-before sequences that have got us excited for the film.

With an uber-cool new theme song, ‘Hallelujah’, performed by ROTTENGRAFFTY, that will set your adrenaline racing, the trailer has certain footage from the original English trailer mixed with new sequences.

The Japanese dub cast has not yet been revealed. However, we hope to know the names of those creating the magic behind the scenes. The English dub cast includes Theo James, Lara Pulver, Graham McTavish, Mary McDonnell, and more.

The film is being directed by Studio MIR’s Kwang II Han. with stellar visuals and gripping action; the trailer is surely a sight for sore eyes.

We see Vesemir fighting monsters, sipping wine in his bathtub, cracking crude jokes while continually reflecting on how he became the Witcher. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is the co-producer for the anime film, dished out more on the film, revealing how it would be a prequel to the popular Netflix series The Witcher as it would delve into the life of Vesemir, who was Geralt’s mentor.

If you liked Henry Cavill’s gruff performance as Geralt of Rivia in a witcher-hating world in the Netflix series The Witcher, you are in for a treat. Watching the goofy and ruggedly handsome Vesemir steal the show with his nonchalant charm is a treat for anyone.
