Watch the first trailer of Netflix’s documentary 'Schumacher'

Known for their wide range of informative and intriguing documentaries, Netflix made Formula One racing aficionados go wild when they announced the documentary on the legendary racer Michael Schumacher’s life to stream on September 15, 2021. They have recently dropped the trailer for the project, and fans cannot seem to keep calm anymore.

The iconic German racer had made his debut at the 1991 Belgian Grand Prix nearly three decades ago. The documentary promises to explore the otherwise fiercely guarded life of the seven-time champion.

The highly-antcipated documentary will trace his career trajectory and his journey as a loving husband and doting father with a trailblazing fitness regimen and winning mentality. The documentary will feature various archival footage as well as interviews with his wife Corinna, children, Mick and Gina, his peers, team members, rivals and friends, besides other heavyweight names such as Mika Hakkinen, Sebastian Vetter, Flavio Briatore, David Coulthard and more. All of which will provide keen insights into his inspiring life.

The unseen footage shall provide an idea of his “multi-layered personality” and show how protective he is of his family. The documentary is “his family’s gift to their beloved husband and father.”

The former F1 driver, an otherwise private person, will most likely speak about his life quite openly for the very first time, detailing his struggles with self-doubt, raging insecurities and more before honing his skills to reach the pinnacle of success.
