Watch the fiery new trailer for the final part of 'Ozark' season 4

Ozark released the first part of its fourth and final season on Netflix in January, leaving fans delighted with its seven slow-burner episodes and setting the tempo for a brutal and explosive final season.

After announcing the release date for the final part a month back, Netflix has finally dropped a fiery new trailer for the finale, hinting at epic chaos and madness.

Starring Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Julia Garner, Felix Solis, Alfonso Herrera, Skylar Gaertner, Charlie Tahan, Lisa Emery and more, the first part of the fourth season hinted at a bittersweet ending to the Emmy-winning fan-favourite show.

Created in 2017 by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams, Ozark revolves around the middle-class Byrde family as they get caught up in a terrifying money laundering scheme and deal with various drug cartels. With every progressing season, the plot thickens, and the situation gets complicated, gruesome and bloodier for the Byrdes, especially when the FBI gets involved.

Garner as Ruth Langmore appears ballistic in the new trailer after seemingly losing almost everything she has built for herself to the Byrdes. She is seen wearing a hoodie and sporting a menacing expression on her face and shoots Javi.

The trailer begins with Marty Byrde lamenting his decision, talking about how “tired” he is to have blood on his hands. Cunning and ruthless, his wife Wendy admonishes him and emotionally manipulates him by bringing up sensitive topics like family and saying how desperate he is to be a “good guy”.

The first part of the show’s final season hinted at an epic showdown at the end and an imminent Byrde family downfall. While the trailer seemingly gives away crucial plot points, it will be interesting to see how the showrunners manoeuvre the fate of the characters via seven final episodes.

The final part of the fourth season of Ozark will premiere on Netflix on April 29th, 2022.
