Netflix’s ‘Ozark’ teases an intense season 4 in new trailer

Ahead of its season four premiere on January 21st, 2022, Netflix has released the official trailer for Ozark that promises an intense and bloody season ahead. Fans are already eagerly awaiting the season that has been divided into two segments and will be released over this year to bid a bittersweet adieu to Marty Byrde and his family.

Starring Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Julia Garner, Sofia Hublitz, Charlie Tahan, Skylar Gaertner, Felix Solis and Janet McTeer, this seven-episode series will also feature Killer Mike as an additional cast member.

Ever since its premiere in 2017, the show has won around 32 Emmy nominations, winning Bateman Best Director Award and Garner two Best Supporting Actress Awards.

Production had started in November 2020 adhering to Covid-19 guidelines regarding shooting, as confirmed by Jason Bateman, the lead actor who said, “We’re going to start November 9th.”

After the bloody finale in the third season, Marty and his wife, Wendy will find themselves embroiled in conflict with the Navarro drug cartel. However, the final season also promises a chance for them to escape the vicious clutches of the criminal underbelly.

In the trailer, Navarro is seen making an offer to the Byrdes where he vows, “You will use your influence, I will walk away from my business, I will be free of the threat of arrest or assassination. Do this and you are free of your obligation to me.”

Just a month back, the show had released a teaser that hints at the snowball effect, violent action sequences, complicated storylines and an overall riveting season.
