After months of eager excitement and anticipation, Netflix has finally dropped the official announcement trailer for Queer Eye season six. According to cast members, this is reportedly their favourite season so far.

Queer Eye is a show with high emotional content that provides a worthy makeover to everyday “heroes”. Created by David Collins and starring the Fab Five, namely Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk and Jonathan Van Ness, the three-time Emmy-winning show is widely acclaimed for its diverse cast and inclusive ideas.

The show helps one gain more confidence and journey towards physical and mental well-being as part of a lifestyle overhaul destined to provoke happy tears and sad smiles.

Given the impact they have had on the community as well as their inclusivity in terms of diversity and representation, Queer Eye deserves all the rainbows, sunshine and love in the world and maybe even more! According to France, the sixth season “galvanised” him.

“I haven’t felt that in quite some time doing any project. It felt really big. The show felt big this season, and I don’t know how else to articulate it,” he said. “It felt different and felt big. It felt like we were serving a greater purpose than just one singular person each episode.” After Australia and Japan, the crew shot the sixth season in Austin, Texas.

In the trailer, the Fab Five are clad in traditional cowboy clothes and are seen walking through an abandoned town. With embellished boots, jeans, cowboy hats and buckle belts, the men are yet again iconic in their choice of fashion.

The show is scheduled for a 31st December 2021 premiere, and fans can no longer keep calm.
