The trailer for the final season of 'Young Royals' has arrived

A trailer for the third season of Young Royals has been released, teasing six episodes of intense drama for the characters.

The show first aired on Netflix in 2021, becoming one of the streamer’s most-watched shows not in the English language. Subsequently, a second season was created, which made its way onto Netflix in 2022 and became even more successful.

Season three, which will be the show’s last, features the same main cast as the previous seasons, with Edvin Ryding and Omar Rudberg reprising their leading roles. Characters such as August, Felice and Sara will also come back for the final instalment of the show.

An official synopsis of the show from Netflix gives greater insight into the events that will play out over the coming six episodes. “Wilhelm’s speech has consequences not only in the court but also throughout the school, as Hillerska confronts the worst crisis in the school’s history.”

“The prince and Simon are determined to be together, but what are they willing to sacrifice when realising that their freedom and love might be at odds with the Royal ideals, traditions and responsibilities?”

The show is set to appear on Netflix on March 11th, although fans will have to wait an extra few days for the series finale to be released on March 18th.
