Three Netflix releases to keep an eye out for this week

No matter which part of the world you are from and whichever timeline you’re living in, Monday always comes with its bad reputation. While it is easily the most-hated day of the week, with Netflix, it’s not all that bad.

Of course, Mondays bring the weekly reminder of what’s leaving Netflix without a miss. But that’s not our biggest takeaway, is it?

Mondays with Netflix always come down to one thing: what’s next on the streamer, and today is no different. Although it’s not exactly a content-heavy week like the previous ones, don’t expect Netflix to finish off February without a bang.

So, get those bags of popcorn ready and keep the calendar handy. Here are the five Netflix releases to keep an eye out for this week.

Five Netflix releases to watch out for this week

Bridgerton (Chris Van Dusen, 2020-Present)

Based on Julia Queen’s book series of the same name, released from 2000 to 2006, Bridgerton is the ultimate romance drama you need to watch out for this week. Serving as the first scripted Shondaland show for Netflix, the Regency drama series follows the eccentric siblings of the Bridgerton family as they work their way through the highly competitive social season where eligible nobility and gentry are debuted in society.

Currently running on its fourth season, Bridgerton primarily focuses on the second son, Benedict. Despite having happily married brothers, the institution of marriage doesn’t really interest him, but that’s only until he gets swept away by a mysterious woman, Lady in Silver, at the masquerade ball. While there’s no questioning the identity of the lady now, at least not anymore, the second part of season four is due on February 26th, with answers awaiting Benedict and her fate. Don’t forget to catch up!

Crap Happens (Alex Schaad and Jano Ben Chaabane, 2026)

The Netflix shelves are set to lighten up with a slapstick comedy series that comes with just the heart, Crap Happens, on February 26th. Created by Dimitrij Schaad and Alex Schaad, the upcoming series revolves around a Berlin-based pizza baker’s unexpected detour from becoming a rap star over a chaotic family tragedy. The series tells the story of Toni, who has spent nearly two decades in Berlin, trying to establish a rap career.

Despite his dreams, Toni’s professional permits are restricted to the kitchen of a pizza shop. If that’s not tragic enough, a real tragedy does take place, culminating in a complete shift in his trajectory. While rescuing a duck, Toni’s mother meets an unfortunate demise under unusual circumstances, prompting his non-negotiable return to his rural hometown, Kacken. Contrary to his expectations, his return opens the door that could be his ticket to fulfilling his lifelong dream. However, with Toni, even that doesn’t come without a catch.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive (Netflix Original Productions, 2019-Present)

Netflix may not have a lot coming from its original slate this week, but that only means you get more time to finish off the eighth season of Formula 1: Drive to Survive as quickly as possible. With the 2026 campaign not far down the line, viewers now have the perfect pre-season warm-up, which starts streaming on February 27th.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive will return with a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the 2025 campaign of the adrenaline sport, both on and off track. While highlights like Lando Norris beating Max Verstappen to the championship by two points are bound to define this season, viewers can also expect key storylines, including the Red Bull turmoil, Hamilton’s challenging red shift, and the intense overall competition. So, buckle up!
