Although over four months have passed since Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios’ breakup, she still keeps asking whether it was honestly a mistake. “He’s always told me that he’d never get back with an ex,” Alix shares with sister Ashtin and best friend Sally. “I want to know for my mental health if I need to pack it up, shut the door, move on, never look back.”
While she was advised to stop overthinking, in Earle Meets World’s season finale, she can be seen dialling Braxton to ask the very question she couldn’t stop thinking of. “When we broke up, you said there was no chance that we’d ever get back together. I just wanted to know, do you still feel the same way? What followed next was a sigh from Braxton, who replied, “Oh, Alix,” before the credits rolled.
Recounting how she got cold feet during the call, Alix still said to Tudum she had no regrets. “It was a really scary moment, but I’m happy that I did ask,” she says. “I thought, ‘I’m just going to rip the Band-Aid off and do it.” While the two remain on good terms, she adds, “For what the future holds, we will see.”

Midway through Dancing with the Stars, Alix Earle discovered that her mother, Alisa, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy and had her ovaries removed in the process, as unveiled in the unscripted series. However, the diagnosis also peeled back the layers on another revelation: she carries the BRCA2 gene mutation, meaning the chances of her daughters carrying it aren’t unlikely.
After Alisa’s push and encouragement, Alix and Ashtin consult a genetics counsellor and subsequently get tested. As they wait for the results, it’s revealed that both are positive for BRCA2. “It’s just a little scary,” Ashtin explains, teary-eyed. “In my mind, I thought one of us might have it, or neither of us has it. It never crossed my mind that both of us could have it.”

As for the feud between Alix Earle and Alex Cooper, well, the sparks were reignited this April when the latter took to TikTok and alleged that the former had created a “fake narrative” about their working dynamic and relationship. The video, unsurprisingly, went viral, racking up over 30million views. All Earle responded publicly was a three-word comment, “Okay on it!!,” and fans have since been wondering where the receipts are.
Speaking of which, she says on her Netflix show, “I stayed quiet for so long because I’m scared of Alex Cooper. …I was hoping karma would step in, but karma has taken a while.” The fact that she had been dropped from Cooper’s company, Unwell, came to light through the media, not just for the audience, but also for herself.
Alix also pointed out an incident specifically while discussing the conflict when she was shooting an episode of Call Her Daddy, where Cooper asked her sexual “truth or drink” questions that Earle was clearly not comfortable responding to. When she asked Cooper to cut the clips later, the latter reportedly refused. “It was stuff I didn’t want to live on the internet forever. It hurt me. It hurts now.”
Additionally, the fallout wasn’t limited to Alix; it spilt out in her family. Eventually, Alix drafts a text to Cooper that reads, “You took advantage of me at a young age in a new industry I knew nothing about. …If there’s one thing I learned from doing business with you, it’s to never do business with anyone like you.”
