The 10 most popular series on Netflix this week: March 2026
If you look at what people are watching on Netflix globally this week, you will notice a pattern. One big returning series is doing most of the work, while a couple of familiar titles have also made it to the list somehow. Even though some major releases happened in the last week, the top spot is secured by One Piece season two.
The jump in One Piece season two is pretty obvious from season one. The Loguetown arc ties Luffy directly to Roger, which has finally given his journey a proper direction instead of just moving from place to place as he did in the first season.
But the part people are really locked into is Drum Island. That is where Chopper comes in, and the show actually slows down enough to let his backstory hit… especially everything with Dr Hiriluk. You also start noticing how the new characters are being handled. Smoker isn’t treated as a quick obstacle, and Vivi clearly isn’t there for a short run.
Then you have Virgin River season seven, which would’ve scored the top spot if One Piece weren’t released in the same week. Mel and Jack actually get the arc where things are not falling apart immediately for once, especially during the Mexico honeymoon storyline. For once, they have got stability, and fans are loving it.
That said, the show doesn’t let everything stay easy. Preacher’s past actions begin to catch up with him, and Brady is still hard to read and not easy to trust. Also, at this point, the story has moved completely beyond the books, so there’s no real roadmap anymore.
Then we have another sequel in the list, and it’s Beauty in Black, season two. This season got released in two volumes, and just like people thought, the second volume was wilder than the first. The earlier episodes build tension between Kimmie and Mallory, but the newer ones turn that into direct confrontation, and that’s what people are reacting to now.
The momentum of this season is comparatively faster, and with season three already confirmed as the final one, everything here feels like it’s building toward an ending. Looks like some shows do know the right time to wrap things up.
What’s also interesting is how One Piece season one is also back in the chart. That usually means people aren’t skipping ahead and are going back to rewatch from the beginning, especially to track characters like Zoro and Nami now that their roles expand further.
After that, things get more scattered. The Dinosaurs, season one, is getting clicks mostly out of curiosity, while Bridgerton, season four, is still in the list after a month of its release.
Lower down, Age of Attraction is doing fine as an easy watch, and Raw: 2026 – March 16, 2026 is around but not really driving much conversation this week. The more interesting return is Love & Death, which is back after a while, probably because people are rediscovering it. It is about a woman who has an affair with a neighbour, and things go too far, ending in a murder and a court case. You can give it a try; it won’t disappoint.
And then there’s Mark Rober’s CrunchLabs, wrapping the list up, continuing to pull in its own audience.
But yeah, looking at everything together, this week really revolves around One Piece. Everything else is just fitting in around it.
