A new week is upon us, and the charts for Netflix’s most popular series of the week have once again shifted. If you’re looking for a brand new show to dive headfirst into, then chances are we have you covered as we bring you the ten best series of the week.
The dominance of Joe Goldberg and You has finally subsided, and the psychopathic loverboy is now relegated to a bronze medal in the charts this week, with 30million hours of viewing to his name. However, enjoying its sixth week in the charts is an accolade worth celebrating in itself.
Instead, the top spot goes to The Night Agent. The series starring Gabriel Basso rapidly rose to the top of Netflix’s weekly ranking chart and is now being tipped by many to be the next smash-hot for the platform, following in the footsteps of their previous viral romp, Wednesday, which is enjoying its 17th week on the charts with another 13.4million hours of viewing.
In fact, with nearly 170million hours of viewing to its name in the first week, it has become the streaming platform’s most successful series premiere of the year. Based on Matthew Quirk’s original novel, the show is destined to be a permanent fixture on the charts for the next few weeks.
There are two more new entries on this week’s chart with the fourth season of Love Is Blind proving that romantic game shows will never disappoint. It grabbed a hefty 25million hours of viewing this week, narrowly beating out another new entry Waco: American Apocalypse.
Other mainstays of recent weeks, Sex/Life season two and Outer Banks season three shared 30million hours of viewing between them. Safe to say, if you’re looking for a brand new show for your weekend, then there is only one place to look: The Night Agent.
