Taking the lead is the limited series Fool Me Once. The show is adapted from a Harlan Coben novel, with the setting shifting from the US to the UK. It has climbed to the number one spot, accumulating a staggering 37.1million views.
But that isn’t the only new show in the top ten. The Brothers Sun season one has secured the fifth spot with 30.2m hours viewed. The comedy-drama series starring Michelle Yeoh, Justin Chien, and Sam Li is full of homages to old-school Chinese martial arts films that have inspired filmmakers like Tarantino for years. So, it is understandable why the show is such a hit.
In the second spot, we have Dave Chappelle: The Dreamer, a 57-minute stand-up special that amassed 9.7m views. The Dreamer has sparked controversy for its content but still managed to secure a significant audience on Netflix. Ricky Gervais: Armageddon is the other stand-up show on the list. It is at number eight. Although criticised for being lacklustre, the special earned Gervais a Golden Globe award recently.
For those fascinated by experimental documentaries, You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment takes the third position. The sports docuseries Captains of the World season one takes the sixth position.
Teenage drama My Life With the Walter Boys season one finds its place at number four. The series has accumulated 33.8m hours of viewership.
Continuing its reign in the seventh spot is the acclaimed The Crown season six, with 21.5m hours dedicated to the tales of royal intrigue. The action-packed Obliterated season one takes the ninth spot.
