The 10 most popular movies on Netflix this week: November 2026

Netflix’s most popular movies chart has seemingly found the candidate who can brave the storm of new releases every week and still hold on to its throne.

During the week of October 26th to November 1st, Ben Affleck’s twisted crime thriller Animals again topped Netflix’s most popular movies chart with 4.7million views. The Netflix Original movie remains one of the top 10 trending titles in 65 countries. In fact, this is its fourth consecutive week on Netflix’s weekly charts.

Ranked second on this week’s most popular movies chart is the 2015 revenge psychological thriller film, Return to Sender, starring Rosamund Pike. Despite a disappointing 14% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the Hollywood movie now has a second life on Netflix, as shown by its 3.6million views and coveted ranking.

Although 70% of the titles on Netflix’s most popular movies chart are animated this week, subscribers must be delighted to know that Maggie Kang’s Oscar-winning animated fantasy flick about the now-viral K-pop group of demon slayers, KPop Demon Hunters, is back in the top five. With 2.6million views, Netflix’s most-watched movie of all time completes its 68-week run on the global weekly chart, a one-of-a-kind feat.

The remaining cinematic candidates in the top five of Netflix’s most popular movies chart this week are Hot Wheels Let’s Race: Attack of the T-Rex with 2.6million views and Ice Age 4: Continental Drift with 2.4million views. That said, these are neither the only animated trendsetters of the week nor the only Ice Age titles from Netflix’s animated overhaul to make the cut.

Up next on this week’s most popular movies chart are two consecutive Ice Age movies: Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs with 2.3million views and Ice Age 5: Collision Course with 2.2million views. Tinseltown’s fan-favourite animated franchise was added back to Netflix shelves earlier in October across regional libraries. And since its return, fans have been making the most of the films’ presence every week.

While the most popular movies are mostly light-hearted animated blasts from the past, Netflix also has the 2025 apocalyptic horror-thriller This Is Not a Test as a palate cleanser at number eight with 2.1million views, serving residual scares from the bygone Halloween season.

Once again in position nine, Netflix has another Ice Age movie, the OG one to be precise, with 2.1million views. Although this isn’t the first time so many Ice Age movies have made it to the weekly chart, it still calls for an uninterrupted marathon.

As for the movie rounding out the weekly trends once and for all, well, it is the live-action CGI-animated hybrid film Aliens in the Attic, also with 2.1million views. And with that, it’s officially a wrap for the week!
