Returning this September, the second season of the animated spin-off series opens right after the events of the first instalment as the crew, comprising Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, Max, and Nikki, return to their everyday activities – arcade gaming, HIC missions, and getting their ducks in a row for the upcoming Valentine’s Day.
While that sounds pretty normal, life in Hawkins, as we know it, is anything but normal. With a new phenomenon hovering over the town where strange flowers are popping up, it’s difficult to distinguish the external beauty and its internal threats. And to make things worse, Nikki and Max are planning to sell off those flowers.

What is the plot?
The bike-riding gang of preteens are back to their routine in the second season of Stranger Things: Tales from ’85. But make no mistake, so are the mysteries plaguing Hawkins. As Valentine’s Day approaches, enigmatic “ghostly” apparitions and a flock of strange hate sprites are busy upending the town. Before a new gate to the Upside Down opens, the HIC must band together to find out the truth behind these inexplicable events.
The Hawkins crew will be back to their hotspots, including Hawkins Middle School and the Palace Arcade. But season two also finds them in uncharted territory.
Who is in the cast?
For the second season of the hit Stranger Things spin-off, the entire Hawkins gang will be back, featuring Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven, Luca Diaz as Mike, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Benjamin Plessala as Will, and Odessa A’zion as Nikki Baxter.
Meanwhile, the additional cast is also returning with Brett Gipson as Hopper, Janeane Garofalo as Anna Baxter, Jeremy Jordan as Steve Harrington, Alessandra Antonelli as Nancy Wheeler, Valeria Rodriguez as Rosario, and Jack Griffo as Jeff.
