Pamela Anderson stars in first trailer for new Netflix documentary, 'Pamela, A Love Story'

Netflix is continuing its fine form of compelling non-fiction series with the release of the first trailer for the Pamela Anderson documentary, Pamela, A Love Story.

Helmed by Ryan White, the same mind behind previous successful documentaries, Good Night Oppy, The Keepers and The Case Against 8, the new series will tell the story of Anderson in the actor’s own words. Chronicling her rise to fame, success with the 1980s drama series Baywatch, and infamous sex tape scandal with Tommy Lee of Mötley Crüe, the new documentary will undoubtedly attract fans of 20th-century pop culture from around the world.

Promising to tell a different side of the story of Anderson’s life in the public eye, a synopsis of the documentary reads: “An intimate and humanising portrait of one of the world’s most famous blonde bombshells. Pamela, a Love Story follows the trajectory of Pamela Anderson’s life and career from small town girl to international sex symbol, actress, activist and doting mother”.

Taking to Instagram back in March, 2022, Anderson announced the show by stating, “My life. A thousand imperfections. A million misperceptions. Wicked, wild and lost. Nothing to live up to. I can only surprise you. Not a victim, but a survivor. And alive to tell the real story”.

Pamela Aderson was an internationally-renowned sex symbol of the late 20th century, thanks to her roles in Baywatch and frequent appearances in Playboy magazine in the early 1990s.
