New 'Stranger Things' poster teases a tense stand-off between Eleven and Vecna

The highly-anticipated Stranger Things season four premiered its first volume on May 27th, 2022 after a three-year-long hiatus. The second volume is scheduled to release on July 1st, 2022.

The new poster for the second volume of Stranger Things season four teases a tense stand-off between Eleven and the nightmare-inducing Vecna.

The poster teases an ultimate showdown between Eleven and Vecna as the rest of the gang, headed by Max, look on in fear and worry.

The first volume was darker, gorier and more intense than all the other three seasons. Taking place across three locations, namely Hawkins, California and Kamchatka in Russia, the season featured the demonic and grotesque Vecna who preyed on Hawkins folks, killing them in a gruesome manner.

An explosive and violent trailer for the second volume is in tune with the creators, the Duffer brothers’ confession that the upcoming volume will be “more violent” than ever.

While fans are already anticipating gut-wrenching major character deaths, it seems like Vecna has crossed over to the earthly realm from the Upside Down and will have a final showdown with his arch-nemesis, Eleven who has seemingly got back her powers.

While Brenner ominously says “Hawkins will fall” in the trailer, it seems like the terrifying second volume will set the tempo for the upcoming fifth and final season.

The fourth season stars Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Priah Ferguson, Natalia Dyer, Maya Hawke, Charlie Heaton, Matthew Modine, Jamie Campbell Bower, Robert Englund, Joseph Quinn, Amybeth McNulty, Regina Ting Chen, Sherman Augustus and Mason Dye among others.

The show is executive produced by Shawn Levy, Iain Patterson and Dan Cohen.
