Netflix’s 'Cowboy Bebop' highlights iconic composer in new video

Netflix is gearing up for the upcoming release of the live-action adaptation of the popular anime series Cowboy Bebop that will begin streaming from the 19th of November, 2021.

Recently, the series revealed a behind-the-scenes video of the iconic composer Yoko Kanna whilst working. The composer is famous for her incredible work on the original late 1990s anime which became a pop-culture phenomenon and was recognisable anywhere.

The jazzy and flirtatious tone of the music always set the mood for Spike Spiegel and his ragtag team of bounty hunters to come sauntering in with style as they battled various adversaries across the solar system while dealing with personal demons and trauma.

Starring John Cho, Mustafa Shakir and Daniella Pineda in lead roles, the live-action series is directed by Andre Nemec

The behind-the-scenes video shows the maestro at work and gives an insight into the thought process of the composer as she guides the team through the journey of recreating the classic opening sequence.

The original 26-episode anime is now streaming on Netflix and needs impromptu attention if one plans to watch the live-action series.

The ten-episode live-action series will also star Alex Hassell, Elena Satine, Mason Alexander Park, Jay Uddin, Tamara Tunie, Rodney Cook, Lydia Peckham, John Randall, Adrienne Barbeau and more.
