Netflix teases 'Cowboy Bebop' release with new bounty posters

Slated for a November release, Netflix’s eponymous live-action adaptation of the anime Cowboy Bebop has already generated a lot of buzz among fans who are highly anticipating the release.

Starring John Cho, Mustafa Shakir and Daniella Pineda in major roles, namely Spike Spiegel, Jet Black and Faye Valentine, the live-action series will follow the course of the anime and focus on a ragtag team of bounty hunters in outer space who hunt down and battle dangerous adversaries across the solar system while trying to escape from their inner demons and traumatic experiences.

Created by Jeff Pinkner and Andre Mac, the script has been written by Thor: Ragnarok’s Christopher Yost and Javier Grillo-Marxauch, the show stars Alex Hassell as the main antagonist Vicious and Elena Satine as Julia.

Adapted from the 26-episode ‘90s anime series, this 10-episode live-action series features the snazzy number by Yoko Kanno whose iconic composition drives in nostalgia.

Gearing up for its premiere and to add to fans’ anticipation, Netflix released a couple of bounty posters as promotional items. The bounty posters give the viewers a closer look at the possible antagonists in the series. These are the bounties that Spike and his team will hunt down. The posters also show the kind of aesthetic the live-action series will comprise.
