Netflix releases trailer for Will Arnett's crime comedy 'Murderville'

Netflix has finally released the official trailer for Will Arnett’s upcoming crime comedy titled Murderville, which is set to be a part of Netflix’s exciting February 2022 lineup of films and shows.

Based on BBC’s BAFTA-winning popular series Murder in Successville, the show will see Arnett as Detective Terry Seatle as he solves a new case every episode. A celebrity guest on each episode joins him. However, the episodes are all unscripted and require improvisation from everyone.

The legion of celebrity guests will include Annie Murphy, Conan O’Brien, Sharon Stone, Ken Jeong, Marshawn Lynch and Kumail Nanjiani.

While Lynch is ready to “catch this motherf****r”, Murphy dons a false moustache. It will also be entertaining to see the late-night talk show host Conan O’Brien help solve cases with the equally entertaining Arnett.

The series is a great and refreshing twist on the familiar trope of celebrity guest shows and sees Arnett donning the avatar of a homicide detective set to solve crimes.

Within the whodunnit sub-genre of murder mysteries, it is amusing to watch the celebrities battle hard to not lose character as they are pushed into morbidly hilarious situations.

The show is set to premiere on February 3rd, 2022.
