Netflix has released a trailer for a new action-thriller starring Game of Thrones favourite Jason Momoa.
The movie, Sweet Girl, comes with the following logline: “A devastated husband vows to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife’s death while protecting the only family he has left, his daughter.”
And it would seem that based on the explosive action-packed trailer, the people responsible come firmly under the blanket of what is termed Big Pharma.
Joining Jason Momoa in the cast is former Dora the Explorer star Isabela Merced, Adria Arjona, Justin Bartha and Lex Scott Davis among others. The thriller is also being directed by Brian Andrew Mendoza who has also worked with Momoa on Frontier, and the script was penned by Philip Eisner, Gregg Hurwitz and Will Staples.
The film is set to premiere on Netflix on the 20th of August as the streaming service continues to ramp up original content in a bid to have a new film each week.
