Netflix drops ‘Sex Education’ season four trailer

Sex Education fans are excited as Netflix has released the long-awaited main trailer for the fourth and final season of the hit series. Scheduled to premiere on September 21st, the new season promises to be a rollercoaster of emotions for viewers.

The trailer provides a tantalising glimpse into the lives of our beloved characters as they navigate the complexities of love, friendship, sex, and self-discovery.

Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield) and Eric Effiong (Ncuti Gatwa) are embarking on a fresh chapter of their lives at Cavendish Sixth Form College, which appears to be brimming with even more intrigue and promiscuity than their  Moordale Secondary School.

Fans of the series have been eagerly awaiting the concluding chapter of the will-they-won’t-they dynamic between Otis and Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey). And the trailer hints at a potentially defining moment for this central storyline. The trailer also teases new relationship developments for the other characters.

The final trailer also features Gillian Anderson as Otis’ mom, a sex therapist, Dr. Jean Milburn. She is embarking on a new chapter in her own life as a radio agony auntie while navigating the joys and uncertainties of late-life motherhood. But there is a new sex therapist in town as well.

Schitt’s Creek’s Dan Levy makes a special appearance in the trailer as Maeve’s tutor in the US, adding further excitement to the upcoming season.

As fans prepare to bid farewell to this beloved series, the anticipation for the final season of Sex Education continues to build. So, remember to mark your calendars for September 21st.
