Netflix announces two new Harlan Coben thrillers after ‘Fool Me Once’

Netflix is riding the wave of success with its latest Harlan Coben adaptation, Fool Me Once, starring Michelle Keegan and Richard Armitage, which has soared to the top ten series charts in 91 countries.

With a growing library of Coben adaptations available for streaming, Netflix has just announced a double treat for fans. Two new Coben thrillers are coming to town.

Taking to their social media handles, Netflix revealed, “Following the recent success of Fool Me Once (Top 10 in 91 countries!), we’re excited to announce two new @HarlanCoben limited series adaptations…”

The first in line is Missing You, slated to begin production this spring. This thriller follows Detective Kat Donovan. The Netflix synopsis reads: “Eleven years ago Detective Kat Donovan’s fiancé Josh – the love of her life – disappeared and she’s never heard from him since. Now, swiping profiles on a dating app, she suddenly sees his face and her world explodes all over again. Josh’s reappearance will force her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past.”

Following closely on its heels is Run Away, which follows the character Simon, whose seemingly perfect life unravels when his daughter goes missing. The search for her leads him into unravelling family secrets and triggering shocking violence that threatens to shatter his life all over again.

Both series will be produced by Quay Street Productions, with Harlan Coben serving as the executive producer through his company, Final Twist Productions.

With Coben’s track record of delivering gripping mysteries, fans are eagerly anticipating the release of these two new Netflix adaptations. Missing You is set to begin production this spring, followed shortly by Run Away.
