Millie Bobby Brown ready to move on from ‘Stranger Things’

Actor Millie Bobby Brown is best known for her role in the Netflix science fiction TV show Stranger Things, developed by the Duffer Brothers. However, Brown has admitted that she is now ready to move on from the series.

Brown has portrayed the character Eleven since she was 11 years old and has revealed in a new interview that she is ready for the show to come to an end after several years of writing and production.

“I think I’m ready. It’s been such a huge factor in part of my life, but it’s like graduating high school, it’s like senior year,” Brown told Women’s Wear Daily before going on to explain how she much wants a career free from the show.

She added, “You’re ready to go and blossom and flourish, and you’re grateful for the time you’ve had, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own life.”

Brown has featured in two Enola Holmes films and Godzilla, but it sounds like she is now ready to spread her wings and fly even further away from Stranger Things. She will soon portray Princess Elodie in the Netflix fantasy epic Damsel.

The synopsis for the film, also starring Nick Robinson and Angela Bassett, reads, “After being sacrificed to a bloodthirsty dragon, a young damsel soon realises that no one is coming and that she must save herself.”

Meanwhile, David Harbour has expressed his excitement about season five of Stranger Things, telling NME, “There’s something about pouring yourself into the final season. That sprint to the finish line is exciting and almost euphoric to me.”
