‘Lupin’ series three given autumn release date on Netflix

The hit Netflix series Lupin is set to return in autumn 2023. The Paris-set crime drama follows the trials and tribulations of Omar Sy’s thief, Assane Diop. With this master around, the French upper classes can never rest easy.

In the upcoming season, which arrives on the streamer on October 5th, Diop has to keep a low profile, having made his forceful impression across France and finding vengeance against Hubert Pellegrini last season.

The season’s official synopsis reads: “Now in hiding, Assane must learn to live far from his wife and son. With the suffering they endure because of him, Assane can’t stand it any longer and decides to return to Paris to make them a crazy proposal: leave France and start a new life elsewhere. But the ghosts of the past are never far away, and an unexpected return will turn his plans upside down.”

Fans will have waited more than two years for this third run, with season two airing in June 2021. We hope the third part lives up to the high standards of the first two seasons. If we’re to give it a fair shot, a thorough recap is in order.
