Never Have I Ever has struck a chord with fans. The show has now been renewed for two more seasons, with season four being the final season.
Created by Lang Fisher and Mindy Kaling, Netflix has now released the first-look photos for the third season of the show which stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as the beloved ditzy first-generation Indian-American immigrant protagonist, Devi.
Devi will return to Sherman Oaks High School with her friends once again to navigate through high school while dealing with academic pressure, friendships, jealousy, aspirations, heartbreaks, love triangles and more, while grappling with the tragic demise of her father and an over-protective mother.
Ramakrishnan will be joined by a lot of recurring faces, including Lee Rodriguez and Ramona Young as her best friends, Fabiola and Eleanor, Darren Barnet as Paxton Hall-Yoshida, Jaren Lewison as Ben, Poorna Jagannathan as Nalini, Devi’s mother, and Richa Moorjani as Kamala, Devi’s cousin.
The third season will show Devi and her friends finally befriending the other Indian girl, Aneesa, played by Megan Suri, as they hang out in Devi’s room according to the new pictures.
The third season will also see a new student, Des, played by Anirudh Pisharody, join this chaotic bunch. The arrival of this new private school student might again throw Devi’s feelings into turmoil, who knows?
The pictures also show Devi and Paxton presumably holding hands in the corridor as the other students look at them in awe and shock.
